Rewrite sentences using the negative adverbials in brackets. When the adverbial is at the beginning of the sentence, you will need to use inversion.

1. As soon as we had set out on our walk, it started to rain. (No sooner)
2. Sorry, I haven't really had a minute to think about it. (barely)
3. It is only possible to access the bank's website by using a special card reader. (Only by using)
4. You mustn't mention this to her under any circumstances. (Under no circumstances)
5. We hardly ever went out in the evenings, because it was so expensive. (Only very rarely)
6. We don't really go out dancing at all anymore (hardly ever)
7. You couldn't find such a spectacular view anywhere else in America. (Nowhere else in America)
