e) 5 ( 2x - 1) + x (x - 1) = 5
f) 12 (x^2 - 1) - 6 ( 2 + x) = 18

$x_{1,\:2}=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$

$x_{1} =\frac{-\left(-6\right)+\sqrt{\left(-6\right)^2-4\cdot \:1\left(-8\right)}}{2\cdot \:1}:\quad 3+\sqrt{17}$

$x_{2} =\frac{-\left(-6\right)-\sqrt{\left(-6\right)^2-4\cdot \:1\left(-8\right)}}{2\cdot \:1}:\quad 3-\sqrt{17}$

$-2x^{2}+x+1=0$
Multiplicar -1 a ambos lados
$2 x^{2} -x-1=0$
Factorizando:
$(x-1)(2x+1)=0$
$x_{1} =1$
$x_{2} =- \frac{1}{2}$

$e)\:5\left(2x-1\right)+x\left(x-1\right)=5$

$10x-5+ x^{2} -x=5$
$x^{2} +9x-5=5$

Factorizando:
