A) Simple Past Tense

Simple Past Tense biasanya digunakan untuk menyatakan tindakan di masa lalu, dan telah selesai di masa lalu.

Penanda waktu yang digunakan: yesterday, last week, last month, two days ago, this morning, when.

Bentuk simple past

    (+) Subject + verb 2  

    (-) Subject + did + NOT + verb 1

Penanda waktu yang digunakan: before, after, until, as soon as.

Bentuk past perfect

   (+) Subject + had + verb 3  

    (-) Subject + had + not + verb 3  

    (?) Had + subject + verb 3 .... ?
