Laura had always wanted to spend holidays in a small village and she went finally there. She lived with her grandparents in a little cottage made of wood. In their village there wasn't good electricity but people didn't have any problems with light.
Laura was happy because the weather there was quite good. She could spend all free time outdoor. Unfortunately the sky turned grey on the third day and then it began to rain heavily. Laura was in the garden and she went inside the house. After two hours she saw a lightning outside and few seconds later she heard a loud noise and grandfather's shout. The cottage started to burn! Laura was frightened and she didn't know what happened. She was scared to death. And out of nowhere someone extinguished the fire. A young man entered the house and took Laura out of the cottage.
On the next day grandparents told Laura what happened. Lightning struck the power line which fell on the cottage and led to fire. There was a terrible expierence and she relieved to be alive.
Laura zawsze chciała spędzić wakacje na małej wiosce, aż w końcu spełniła swoje marzenie. Mieszkała wraz ze swoimi dziadkami w domku z drewna. W ich miasteczku nie było zbyt dobrej elektryki, jednak ludzie nie mieli problemów z prądem. Laura była szczęśliwa ponieważ pogoda była nawet dobra. Mogła spędzać każdą wolną chwilę poza domem. Niestety, trzeciego dnia pogoda się popsuła, było szaro i deszczowo. Laura była w ogrodzie i weszła do domu. Po dwóch godzinach zobaczyła błyskawicę, a po kilku sekundach usłyszała głośny hałas i krzyk dziadka. Chatka zaczęła płonąć! Laura była przerażona, nie wiedziała co się stało. Bała się niesamowicie. Nagle pojawił się ktoś z nikąd i ugasił pożar. Młody mężczyzna wszedł do domu i zabrał z niego Laurę.
Następnego dnia, dziadkowie Laury powiedzieli jej co się stało. Błyskawica trafiła w linię wysokiego napięca która spadła na dom i wywołała pożar. Przeżyła tam niesamowite doświadczenie, oraz ulgę iż żyje.
