It s a winderful world
The great barrier reef which is in the pacufic ocean off the coast of nort east Australia is made of coral. It s enormous in fact astronauts can see it from space. The reef is in danger because of global warming and pollution which are slowly killing it.
The parucution volcano which erupted from a Mexican cornfield in 1943 is special because people actually saw its first moments. A farner whose wife and son were with him suddenly noticed a huge split in the ground then the field exploded. By the end of the year the volcano was 335 metres high.
The highest mountain the world is mount everest which is on the border of nepal and tibet. About 2,500 people have climbet it and many more have tried. It was first climbed by tensing norgay and Edmund hillary who reached the top i 1953.
The grand canyon is in arizona usa where the colorado river cut through the desert more than six milion years ago. It s enormous. It s 446 kilometers long nearly 30 kilometers wide and about 1,600 meters deep. It s a truly spectacular sight
