In this picture I can see two young people: a woman and a man. The woman is in a wheelchair and the man is standing in front of her. They are having a conversation. They are both dressed casually but fashionably.
1. These young people may be classmates or neighbors. I think this because they are standing/sitting close to each other and they are looking directly at each other. They seem interested in the conversation they are having. Their body language is relaxed.
2. Nowadays, it is possible for young people with disabilities (nie wypada mowic “disabled people”) to have an almost normal life. In many countries there are laws that state that all public buildings, modes of public transportation, and streets have to be accessible to people in wheelchairs. This makes it easier for them to get around. These same laws ban discrimination on the basis of disability. This makes it possible for them to have jobs, just like others. They may still face problems in social and private situations though. Many people don’t want to date people with disabilities.
3. My aunt and uncle are deaf mutes (gluchoniemi). They communicate with sign language. However, they can only watch TV and not listen to it. They cannot hear the doorbell. They have a fax machine but not a telephone. They cannot hear cars or traffic, so crossing the road is more dangerous for them. They cannot drive, so they always rely on public transportation or the kindness of family and friends to get around.
