Who do you think are the greatest Poles ?

1. In my mind is the largest Polish Pope John Paul II because he did a lot for the world. He is a role model.
2. Absolutely role model is also the Maria Curie-Sklodowska, because through it we know much about radioactivity.
3. In my mind Adam Malysz is also a role model in the sports department. I'm not sure if it can be imitated in other areas.

1. In my opinion one of the greatest Poles is Blessed Pope Jan Paweł II. I don't agree that he was only pope. He fought with comunism, in these days it was really important for Poland. He was always cheerful, happy and tolerant. A lot of people know, that he loves travell.

 

2. To my mind Mikołaj Kopernik was a genius. He was a renaissance astronomer. Kopernik created heliocentric theory. He wrote "De revolutionibus orbium coelestium". All Poles are proud of him.

 

3.  Absolutely Fryderyk Chopin was an unique character. He was one of the best polish composer and pianist. He wrote a lot of mazurkas, nocturnes and waltzes. His music is beautiful and moving. In his honor every 4 years Poland organise a piano competition.
