A dramatisation of one man's rescue of Jewish refugees in the Nazi- occupied Polish city of Lvov. The director of 'In Darkness' is Agnieszka Holland, a well experienced direcotr who had won some awards in the past. The main characters are Robert Wieckiewicz (as Leopold Socha the in film), Benno Furmann (as Mundek Margulies in film), Agnieszka Grochowska (as Klara Keller in the film) and Maria Schrader (as Paulina Chiger in the film). Personally, I think this film has really showed how it was in the past, however, there are few scenes that letting the movie down. The underground scenes are too dark and you can't see much and I think this makes the film really long and at some point a bit boring.
