Hawaii-Surfing paradise Surfing is one of the world's oldest sports. Nobody knows the exact origin of surfing but historians think that the Polynesian knew how to surf two thousad years ago, when they migrated to hawaii. Hawaiian kings were often good surfers too ! In fact, surf boards were always status symbols in Hawaii. Important and rich people had bigger and better boards than the rest.

Today the North Shore of Hawaii is possibly the surfing capital of the world. It is the home of some of the world's most important surfing competitions . the waves can be seven metres high, but you need to be an expert, or mad, to surf these dangerous waves

Hawaje- raj dla surferów. Surfowanie to jeden z najstarszych sportów na świecie. Nikt nie wie jak dokładnie powstał,ale historycy uważają, że Polinezyjczycy umieli surfować już 2 tys lat temu, kiedy emigrowali na Hawaje. Hawajscy królowie również często  byli dobrymi surferami. W rzeczywistości, deski surferów na Hawajach zawsze były symbolami dobrego statusu. Ważni i bogaci ludzie mieli większe oraz lepsze deski niż inni surferzy.

 

Możliwe, że dziś Północne Wybrzeże Hawaii jest surferską stolicą świata. Jest domem dla wielu najważniejszych, światowych zawodów w surfowaniu. Fale mogą mieć tam nawet 7m wysokości, ale musisz być ekspertem, albo szalonym aby ujarzmić te niebezpieczne fale .
