Steve Backshall is a naturalist, writer and TV presenter.
He was born in 1973. His parents worked for British Airways. He spent many holidays in exotic countries.
He decided to study Theatre and English at Exeter and biology at Open University. Then he went to Japan and learned judo and karate.
He filmed trip in Colombian jungle for TV. He was a presenter on National Geographic Channel for five years.
In 2012 Steve published novel Tiger wars. Then he danced in TV competition "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2014. He's still popular today.
