Steve Backshall is a famous naturalist, writer and TV presenter. He was born in 1973. His parents worked for British Airways. He studies English and theatre at Exter and Biology at Open University. He also learned judo and karate in Japan. In his early career he filmed a trip in the Colombian jungle for TV and he presented on Nation Geographic Channel for five years. Later on in his life he published a novel called "Tiger wars" in 2012 and danced in a TV competition called "Strictly Come dancing" in 2012 which is popular to this day.
