Iggy Azalea was born as Amethyst Amelia Kelly in Sydney, Australia. When she was a baby her family later moved to Mullumbimby, New South Wales. Her father was a painter and comic book artist, mother was a cleaning lady. Azalea began rapping at the age of 14 years. Shortly before the 16th birthday, she went to the United States, where she lived for six years without a visa. She lived among Miami, Houston, Atlanta, Georgia and Los Angeles.
