Pilsen - Castles of King Ludwig of Bavaria - Munich

 

DAY 1

Departure in the morning, drive to the Czech Republic (on the way stopping for a meal) Arrival at the hotel in the vicinity of Pilsen in the Czech Republic in the late evening. Overnight.


DAY 2

After breakfast, tour of Pilsen, we start walking around the Old Town where we see Św.Bartłomieja Gothic church, town hall, a synagogue and many Art Nouveau and charming townhouses. For those willing to explore the brewery Plzeňský Urquell and beer tasting at the famous, founded in the XIX century pub on Stilce. Transfer to Germany. Accommodation in a hotel near Munich. Overnight.


DAY 3

After breakfast a short tour of Munich's Old Town, St Mary's Church, the Gothic Old Town Hall, National Theatre, Alter Hof. In the south part in the biggest celebration of Oktoberfest beer in the world, in the famous tent Hippodrom. Time will make pleasant Bavarian folk bands (ticket, beer tasting a hot meal in the price). Back to the hotel. Overnight.


DAY 4

After breakfast, tour of castles built for King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Hohenschwangau - a medieval castle was rebuilt in the nineteenth century romantic style. Neuschwanstein - Bavaria's most beautiful castle which is a mixture of different architectural styles-border (used by Disney as a model for Sleeping Beauty Castle trip to Austria - on the way stop at the next castle "mad" king in Linderhof. Overnight at the hotel. Lodgings.


DAY 5

After breakfast drive to Werfen and visit Eisriesenwelt - the largest ice caves in the world (42 km ice corridors, tunnels and alleys. It will be cold!) Warm up the afternoon visiting the fortress from the eleventh century Hohenwerfen located on the 155m scale. Back to the hotel and overnight.


DAY 6
