One day my friend dared me to visit haunted house on top of the hill. I won’t hide fact that I was scared. I think I wanted to show off my ‘bravery’. If you could call that ‘bravery’. I was shaking while opening the door of haunted house. It was past 7 p.m. and autumn evening so It have become dark before I even arrived in mansion. Boards were creaking while I tried not to scream. Suddenly, I saw something near stairs. It was white and semi-transparent. I was standing there looking at it, while this thing was coming closer and closer… Something inside me snapped and I screamed for help. I ran to door but they were closed. I tried to push them harder but it had no effect. Ghost was now near me. It looked like a small girl. I started to cry but then I heard ‘Don’t be afraid… I want to play with my ball’. I closed my eyes praying it was only a dream. Next I could feel something on my shoulder. Door suddenly has opened and I fell on my friend. ‘What’s wrong, coward?’. They were laughing when I told them about a ghost. ‘Look there!’ I yelled and pointed place where girl should have been standing. There was nothing except little, old, red ball. It was the last time I ever went to haunted house.
