George Timothy Clooney (born May 6, 1961 in Lexington, KY) - American actor, director, screenwriter and film producer. Winner of an Oscar for her role in the film Syriana, and a Golden Globe for Syriana and the role in the film O Brother, Where Art Thou? Coen brothers. 
He studied at Northern Kentucky University and acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse. He comes from a family of actors. His father, Nick Clooney, a TV journalist and Democratic candidate for the House of Representatives from Kentucky in 2004, led the talk show The Nick Clooney Show. Clooney was there that he made his debut as a five-year child. My aunt, Rosemary Clooney, the actor's ex-wife and director José Ferrer, was a jazz singer and an actress, appearing in such in the ER. Their son, cousin and friend of Clooney, actor Miguel Ferrer, George invited in 1982 to play a small role in film and convinced the actor to work and settle in California. 
On her big break Clooney waited almost 10 years. Initially, he played small roles in television productions, including The Facts of Life, Roseanne, Sunset Beat, Baby Talk, Bodies of Evidence, Sisters. The turning point in his career was the role of Dr. Ross in a very popular TV series ER (1994-2005), which earned him popularity, two Emmy Award nominations and many lucrative film proposals. 
In 1989-1993 he was married to actress Talia Balsam. 
From 2002 to property in Laglio on Lake Como in Italy.
