Dear Mrs Miller,

 

I am writing in response to your adverisement which was published in the newspaper of May 5th. I am very interested in it and I would like to apply for the position of chambermaid in your famous hotel.

 

I already have some experience of the hotel business. For two years I worked as a waitress and a chambermaid in guest house and restaurant in the ski resort of Zakopane. 

 

I am a friendly and honest person who understands the meaning of hard work. I get on well with the public and co-workers. I also hold a certificate in first aid which could be useful in a busy tourist season.

 

I would be glad to attend an interview in any time convenient to you.
