Maria Sklodowska Curie was born on 7th November, 1867 in Warsaw in Poland.

Maria lived in a well-known family of teachers. She loved horsed and she was talented at chemistry. Skłodowska was a Polish-French scientist, physicist, chemist. She received two Nobel Prizes. Maria discovered polonium and radium in 1898. This discovery was very important for tha all world. 

Curie died at dome on 4th July, 1934 i Passy. Her tomb is located in Warsaw.
