More and more students start working while they are still students. The moot question is whether it is a good trend or a negative phenomenon. 

Firstly, students should study not work. Students who work have less time for reading and studying. Their academic performance is usually not very good and they are satisfied with low grades.
Secondly, students should find time for hobbies. It is very important for young people to have passion and they need time to develop it. 

On the other hand, there are also advantages of working during your academic years. 
People who work and study get a lot or work experience and they would probably have better career opportunities in the future.
What is more, student may become more independent. They can earn and spend their own money.

Taking into consideration all the aforementioned arguments, we can notice that there are both positive and native sides of the discussed trend. I tend to agree with the opponents more and I believe students should focus on their academic work.
