A person I like from Polish history is Wisława Szymborska. She was born on 2nd of July in 1923. She was famous Polish writer. She became famous when she received Nobel Prize in literature. Nobel Prize wasn't her first or her last prize. One of the important awards were also Herder's Prize and Goethe's Prize. Her poems are recognized all over the world. In November 2011 Wisława Szymborska has undergone serious operation. Three months later (in February) she died. She died when she was 89 years old. Wisława Szymborska was person worthy of imitation.
