1. It's a monitor. Monitor is used to show the screen.
2. It's a motherboard. It is an element, where you put central processing unit (CPU), RAM modules, system fan, expansion cards. You can also plug in here power wires for optical and disk drives.
3. It is CPU, the core component. CPU performs the instructions of a computer program, input and output operations and logical and arithmetical operations.
4. It is Random Access Memory. RAM exists only while the computer is powered on. It's a kind of memory used by operating system and software to do operations.
5. Those are extension cards. They are classified into graphic(video), sound and Internet types.
6. That is a power supply unit. It delivers a power to all devices.
7. That is a CD-ROM drive. It is a device where you put your CD and it reads it.
8. That is a Floppy or Disk drive. Disk drive is used for the storage and retrieval of information. Disk drives are classified into hard disks, floppy disks and optical discs. Floppy is a device that reads the data from or writes the data to small disk called diskettes.
9. It is a mouse. It is used to move the cursor around the screen.By clicking on mouse you cause an action on the screen, f.e. if you want to open the folder, you should double-click on it.

Software
In my computer I have few types of software:
- operating system - it's Windows. It;s commercial, widely available and easy to use.
- Office package - it's Microsoft Office, I use it to write a new document, make a presentation or do some calculations.
- some games - to me it's a kind of entertainment. When I'm stressed, I play games to relax.
- drivers - that kind of software is essential for devices to work.
