Advantages:
- it can teach you how to appropriately/properly communicate with other people (with customers, buyers, shoppers, clients),
- you can get precious experience that may turn out really useful while applying for a full-time job,
- it can show you that making/earning money isn't an easy thing to do and it's worth spending money in a resonable way,
- you can afford to go on holiday with your family or friends or at least save some money.
Disadvantages:
- seasonal jobs are badly paid,
- usually, there are a lot of tasks to accomplish and you can barely handle to cope with them,
- you can't actually take some time off and prepare for the upcoming term,
- it is often the case that employers take advantage of seasonal workers.
