4. You can take as much time as you want on traveling. (you dont have to worry about coming back to the hotel at a exact time and about someone being tired)
5. You can meet people when you get there (you can make new friends)

NEGATIVE:
1. You can get lonely.
2. You won't have anyone to talk to.
3. In case of an emergency you will be alone.
4. Traveling by yourself can be very dangerous.
5. It's always good to have someone there for you to keep you company.
