Rugby league is a very popular sport in Great Britain, especially in Wales. These are the rules.
Rugby players have to wear strong boots. You can’t wear trainers.
You can kick the ball, or you can carry it when you run. You have to pass the ball to a teammate who catches it and then runs towards the line. You can’t throw the ball in front of you. You have to throw it behind you.
To score points, you have to put the ball on the ground behind the line. But you have to hold it when it touches the ground. You can’t drop it or throw it. Or you can kick the ball over a post.

Players needs to wear pair of strong boots, socks, shorts and jerseys.

All players must use their feet, head or chest to play the ball. Only the goalkeeper is allowed to use their hands.
If the ball touches or crosses the side line, it is thrown back in by the team that didn’t touch the ball.

The aim of the game is to score a goal, which you can achieve by kicking the ball into the opposition team's goal.
