One Friday in June I was walking down the street. It was a sunny day. I bought some ice cream and I was going back home. I was listening to music at the same time and I wasn't paying attention to what was going on on the road. Suddenly I heard a scream muffled by the sound of music in my earphones. I turned my head to see who was screaming my name. I saw a car driving right into me. I was too scared and surprised to move. The car stopped right in front of me. The driver managed to stop it before it hit me. He got out of the car and started screaming at me for not paying attention. Paeople around stopped and were staring at us. I was still in schock and I was close to crying. I apologized and went home without my earphones on this time.
