The best season in the year is summer because there are holidays at that time. We do not have to go to school for two months and it is great. However, it is not the only reason why holidays and summer are so funny. The next thing is the weather. If it is hot and the sun shines all the time the people can spend much time outside their houses. They can swim in rivers, lakes, swimming pools or the sea. They can take a sunbathe or walk. The bad weather, rain and low temperatures, can destroy the whole holidays, especially when you sit alone in your house. If you have friends it is not as bad. If you have good friends nothing can stop you from having fun. The place where you go on holidays is also important. I think that the best places are Spain and the countries on the Mediterranean Sea. The beaches are beautiful, the water clean and the people, especially in Spain, very kind.Last year I spent my holidays in Spain. It was the best time in my life. It was a camp and there were many young people. I went there by bus with many other young people. On road to Spain we were in Monaco. We stayed in a big hotel on the coast. The weather was fantastic: it was hot and sunny and the sea was very calm. Everyday after the breakfast we went to a swimming pool and swam there. Later we went on the beach and swam in the sea or took a sunbathe. We spent there most of the time but of course not all of it. We wanted to see as many things as it was possible. For example we were in Barcelona which is a very beautiful town. We were on the stadium that belongs to FC Barcelona. The city is full of beautiful and old buildings and the people who live there are very nice. In the evening we went on meeting on which we ate traditional Spanish food from different parts of the country. We saw the flamenco dancers. We were walking on the beach during the night. The stars were beautiful and the sea at night is also a fascinating sight. We even swam in the sea at 23 o'clock. During the way home we visited Genewa. The city is very interesting. When we returned to Poland everybody was unhappy because such fantastic holidays ended. We met new friends during the holidays and fortunately we still maintain contact with them. We would like to go together on the next holidays.I took many photos on these holidays and I often look at them. Then I recollect all those happy moments that spent in Spain.
