I love Steven Spielberg. He started making his own films at the age of twelve. At the age of 26 Spielberg directed JAWS, we all remember the girl screaming in the water and the poster with the big shark's head and white sharp teeth. 

Spielberg created an another big screen hero too- INDIANA JONES. The archeologist with the old brown hat and long whip was played by Harrison Ford. In 1993 Spielberg worked with most children's dream creatures, dinosaurs. He filmed the monster movie hit JURASSIC PARK. The dinosaur models were so authentic that some viewers actually fainted. It was filmed in Hawaii and made a monster 913 million dollar. 

Steven Spielberg won his first Oscar for best director by making a film in Poland. The story of the German industrialist Oscar Schindler saving 1200 people from death in Auschwitz is emotional one. Spielberg won the personal Oscar for  SAVING PRIVATE RYAN with Tom Hanks.

But this man is not perfect. His high school grades were not good enough to take him to film school in America. He made in 1979 a film called 1941. He wanted to make comedy, he wanted to make people laugh but very few people laughed at 1941.
