In 2008, together with his friends formed a band Star Guard Muffin, who made his debut appearance preceded EastWest Rockers. A year later released their debut mini-album, formation Fri Promised Land. The material was released independently by the band.In 2010, Bednarek took part in the third edition of Got Talent! emitted by the TV station TVN. At the audition presented the song "I" from the repertoire of Kurt Nilsen. Unanimously passed to the next stage where he sang "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton. Viewers votes advanced to the finals. At the beginning of 2012 the singer took part in a television program Battle of the voices emitted by a television station TVP 2. Bednarek szesnastoosobowej appointed Chairman of the Bank Group singers with whom he won the program . The prize money he received was used to group the Foundation for Development, supporting young talent in the city shore. June 1 of the same year, together with program participants Battle of voices played at XLIX National Festival of Polish Song in Opole. The concert Roaring 60's! performed the song "Everything tells me that somebody loved me" from the repertoire Skaldi.In the meantime, Star Guard Muffin team decided to suspend activities . The reason for this decision was the departure of bassist - Cuba Wojciechowski and guitarist Simon Lean . Bednarek decided to continue with his artistic team composed of Peter Bielawski (guitar), Radek Szyszkowski (keyboards), Peter Stanclik (bass) and Maciej Pilarz (drums).
