Key developments in the early 20th century included the emergence of Los Angeles as center of the American entertainment industry, and the growth of a large, state-wide tourism sector. In addition to California's prosperous agricultural industry, other important contributors to the economy include aerospace, petroleum, and information technology. If California were a country, it would rank among the ten largest economies in the world, with a GDP similar to that of Italy. It would be the 35th most populous country.

California is one of the states of America. What is important, it is the richest state and there live the largest number of people. The name of the state comes from supposed paradaise, which occupied Amazons. What's more in California is Mediterranean climate with cold, rainny winters and dry summers. Near the seashore creates some fogs. Two important rivers flow over the state: Sacramento and San Joaquin. The majority of residents use english language but there are some people, who uses spanish (about 20 percent). California is well-known in world because of the Hollywood and all stars living there.

Kalifornia jest jednym ze stanów Ameryki. Co ważne, jest najbogatszym stanem i żyje tam najwięcej ludności. Nazwa stanu pochodzi od rzekomego raju, w którym żyły Amazonki. Co więcej w Kalifornii jest śródziemnomorski klimat z zimnymi, deszczowymi zimami i suchymi latami. Blisko wybrzeża kształtują się mgły. Dwie ważne rzeki przepływają przez stan, Sacramento i San Joaquin. Większość obywateli używa języka angielskiego, ale niektórzy hiszpańskiego (około 20%). Kalifornia jest znana w świecie przez Hollywood i gwiazdy tam żyjące.
