The picture shows a man dressed in white, most probably a doctor, and a woman with long dark hair - probably a patient who came to see the doctor with some illness. The doctor seems to be checking the woman's throat, because the woman faces him with an open month and he is looking intently, pressing her tongue down with a medical instrument.

Odpowiedzi na pytania:
1. I think that the doctor is telling the patient to open her mouth wide. And to hold still while he is monitoring her throat for infection.
2. I do not like going to a doctor so I always feel nervous when I have to do it. I always feel worried that the doctor may discover a dangerous illness. I worry that the visit will be just the first one of a long series of visits.
3. I went to see a doctor six months ago with a fever. In the morning a felt very bad: I was feverish and my throat hurt. I called the local clinic and arranged a visit. When I arrived the doctor told me to come in, looked at my throat, checked my pulse and temperature. He told me that I had a mild flu. He gave me some antibiotics and vitamins and sent me home. I had to stay in bed for a week.
