RYŚ-LYNX
The lynx is a medium sized cat with long tuffs of hair on its face beside its ears and a short tail. The lynx has large paws which help it walk through the snow. The lynx is 2 ½ feet long and weighs approximately 17 to 25 pounds.Lynx jeść zające w rakietach śnieżnych, króliki, myszy, nornice, cietrzew, pardwy i Red Squirrel. Lynx eat snowshoe hares, rabbits, mice, voles, grouse, ptarmigan, and red squirrel. They stalk their prey, then pounce on them. Large lynx may even attack a large animal such as a deer. Lynx are good swimmers and climbers. This helps them follow their prey.
ŻUBR-BISON
A bison has a shaggy, long, dark brown winter coat, and a lighter weight, lighter brown summer coat. As is typical in ungulates, the male bison are slightly larger than the female and, in some cases, can be considerably heavier. Plains bison are often in the smaller range of sizes, and Wood bison in the larger range. Head-and-body length ranges from 2 to 3.5 m (6.6 to 11.5 ft) long, the tail adding 30 to 91 cm (12 to 36 in). Shoulder height in the species can range from 152 to 186 cm (60 to 73 in). Typical weight can range from 318 to 1,000 kg (700 to 2,200 lb)
WILK-WOLF
[The European wolf's] head is narrower, and tapers gradually to form the nose, which is produced on the same plane with the forehead. Its ears are higher and somewhat nearer to each other ; their length exceeds the distance between the auditory opening and the eye. Its loins are more slender, its legs longer, feet narrower, and its tail is more thinly clothed with fur. The shorter ears, broader forehead, and thicker muzzle of the American Wolf, with the bushiness of the hair behind the cheek, give it a physiognomy more like the social visage of an ESQUIMAUX DOG than the sneaking aspect of a European Wolf.
