Undeniably, our country boasts a number of countytowns but if I had to choose one place particularly the most attractwive,I would cdefinitely pick put Solina, a picturesque village in southern Poland, ideal for those wishing to spend holidays in stifling atmosphere.
Located at the foot of the Bieszczady Mountains, each tear Solina welcomes lots of hill walkers and lovers of local folklore. However, unlike other holiday resorts, the village does not seem to be overcrowded or noisy. What impresses all the tourists coming here is its exceptionally tranquil centre with Renaissance dream, houses and a maze of narrow streets meandering aroung the market place.
But the real highlight of Solina is a modern dam built across the beautiful San River at the beginning of the 20th century. Standing on top of it, tourists can take in the spectacular coastal scenery and the artificial Solnskie Lake tih crystal-clear water.
In the summer holidaymakers have the opportunity to hire a boat to explore the sandy of the lake or take part in the national fishing championships. Others may prefer to take leisurely walks along winding paths or step into one of Solina`s cafes for refreshing cup of tea or a glass of cold beer.
I have to admit I always return to Solina with great pleasure because this magical place allows me to forget about daily life.
Therefore, I am convincet that Solina is the perfect holiday resort for people from all over the world. Not only can they admire countless breathtaking views but they can also enjoy the clear air and unwind after a hectic time at work or school.
