ONE/ONES
We use one/ones when we do not want to repeat the already mentioned noun.
ONE  refers to the previously mentioned SINGULAR noun
ONES  refers to the previously mentioned PLURAL noun
Examples: I don’t know which skirt I liked most, the yellow one or the blue one.
I’d like to have some apples. I’d like to have the red ones, please!
