November 2018 1 19 Report

Odpowiedz na pytania do tekstu. In 2002, a British boy called Seb Clover, sailed alone across the Atlantic. He was only fifteen years old, the youngest person to sail the Atlantic alone. The journey took 24 days. Seb left Tenerife on December 19th and arrived in Antigua on January 12th. He sailed 4,320 kilometers. Seb's father, Ian Clover, was also racing. Seb talked to his father every day of the race. Ian Clover is a sailing teacher and Seb had sailing lessons with his father. He started lessons when he was 12 years old. After the race, Seb drank some lemoniade with lots of ice, and it tasted fantastic! He was very tried. On the boat he slept in a bunk. The bunk moved, and sometimes Seb fell off! There was a very bad day on the journey - when Seb had no more chocolate! Seb's boat was called 'Reflections' and was ten meters long. He saw whales and dolphins. They swam next to the boat. The whales were very big - and scary! Seb didn't win the race, but when he arrived in Antigua he had a fantastic welcome. A steel band played; Seb's parents and the Governor of Antigua met him; there were lots of boats; people in the street shook his hand and took photos. There was a rainbow too! His father said 'I am very proud of Seb.' pytania na które potrzebuję odpowiedzi: 1. What was the boy's name? 2. What did he do? 3. How old was he? 4. How long the journey take? 5.
