1) I can definitely agree with this point of view. Our education still needs to improve the level of practical lessons and think of new ways to prepare students for living a independent life. Our living prepares many challenges for us, but having a big knowledge of science can't prepare us for all of them.
2) From my point of view education is vital those days. In an adult life employer won't judge you by an appearance, he will judge you by the level of your education, by the school that you finished or by the course that you attended to. It will help you get a well-paid job as well as approval of intelligent, educted people. It will also help you flourish in the field of your own inner life.
