I know that computer games addiction is a serious problem and you must be very worried about Jason but there is something you can do . First fo all, you must tell him he's important for you and wants everything the best for him. When he feels you support him, it will be easier to give up. Then you can give him some tips. I think he should make time limits for example an hour a day and never sit longer in front of the computer.
Another thing which could be helpul is finding a hobby. It can be any sport or even going out with friends. I'm sure if he found thing he loves to do he wouldn't play computer games so often.
