Good Morning Good People!

First, I’d like to say thank you to God, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful, who gives me a time to speech in this special moment.

Principal, all teacher and all friends in this school

The Indonesian’s Declaration of Independence was proclaimed at 10.00 a.m. on Friday, August 17th, 1945 by Mr. Ir. Soekarno and Mr. M.Hatta as the Founding Father of the Nation. The declaration marked the start of the five year diplomatic and armed-resistance of the Indonesian National Revolution, fighting against the forces of the Netherlands until the latter officially acknowledged Indonesia’s independence in 1949. The Netherlands declared that they recognized Indonesian independence is in 1945, not 1949 just in 2005

On August 17th, every year, we celebrate the Independence Day. We know that it’s very fun. There are a lot of contests, like Panjat Pinang, Makan Kerupuk, and so on. And at Istana Merdeka, they do the Flag Ceremony.

Perhaps, some of you go to have celebrate it. You must be spirit in the Independence Day, you look our hero, and they are held the pass to gain freedom. And us, we’re as the student, we have to have spirit to celebrate the Independence Day. If you confess you’re Indonesia’s people, you must care about Indonesia, the Independence Day of Indonesia, and all of Indonesia you must care, because it’s your country.

As a student, I invite you to fill our time up with study hard, because without study hard there is no success and also it’s for appreciating the struggle of Indonesian Hero to gain Indonesia Freedom came true. Study for a better future of our life, Our Family, and Our Nation.
