My favourite kind of music is pop, which is just short for "popular". I listen to it every day. What I like best about pop is the upbeat music is perfect to dance to. Since pop is very popular, it's played everywhere - on the radio, in the television - so I can always listen to it. Some of the songs have great lyrics, too. they motivate me to learn English and help me with it (for example, when I look up the translation of the lyrics, I always learn something new).

Even though pop is one kind of music, you can find a lot of different styles under te label "pop". There are happy songs about friendship, sad songs about unfulfilled love or peaceful music tht helps me relax.

My favourite artist is Demi Lovato. Even though the songs se realeased when she wa wroking with Disey weren't really goog, I love her other songs. I also admire her as a pehe overcame her problems like going to a rehab or having bulimia.
