This year I visited my grandparents who live abroad. My parents and I flew to London on the 24th of December. My grandfather picked us up from the airport. My grandmother prepared a traditional twelve-dish Christmas supper. We started our feast by sharing the Christmas wafer. Each of the twelve dishes was tasty, but my favourite was carp with horseradish sauce. After supper we exchanged our presents and went to church for the Midnight Mass. We sang Christmas carols and prayed in front of a beautiful Nativity scene. We all had a wonderful time together. I always feel fortunate to spend Christmas with my closest family members.
