These days people don't seem to care about the Earth and this is reprehensible attitude. The Earth is our home and it needs a better treatment.
People pollute water in many ways and the Earth is about 75% water . If we don't do something soon, it may cause horrible effects. To prevent pollution we can reduce the amount of water we use daily, for example by taking quick showers instead of filling whole bath with water, or by double checking if the tap is turned off. It is nothing remarkable, we all can do it, and if we do the situation will definitely improve.
