how are you? I am spending my summer in Ireland. I have been a volunteer in the animal shelter for 2 weeks. I have never done such a job in my life before. Although I like pets, when I got here I was a little bit scared because of wild animal which were new for me. I got used to it very quickly. Since I started, there has been one really difficult situation for me. It happened when I was trying to feed a dog which was just delievered. When I closed my hand to this dog, it bit me. That was so terryfying. I even thought about quiting after that accident. Finally, I decided to stay here. In my humble opinion people should be informed more about dogs in such a shelter. There are many cool dogs which can be adopt and given a new life. What is more, there are many people willing to take such a dog but they worry that they will have to pay for vet. I think if we want to encourage people to adopt animals we should provide free vet care. That should work.
