Where did you go last summer ? We went to the United States. We visited a lot of olaces. The best place was EMP -Experience Music Project . Why was it so good ? We were there for two days and we could see a lot of fascinating exhibitions. We took part in some music workshops. We learnt about the history of different music styles . I enjoyed the presentation about soul and gospel music because I didn't know much about them and the presenter taught me a lot. What was so special about this museum ? Young people don't usually like museums ... Wow ! Everything ! We could meet real musicians and they told us about their music. We could also create our own music on the computers - that was fun ! There were a lot of guitars of Bob Dylan and Kurt Cobain ! I didn't want to leave the place ! There are also organized music camps , where young people can develop their talents. There was a summer camp just after we left. Yesterday I got an e-mail from my American freiend , Ted. He went to the camp and he learnt how to play the bass guitar , studied song writing and played a live concert for a real audience.
In the Experience Music Project are many fascinating exhibitions . Also there are organised music workshops where you can learn such interesting things eg about histry of different music styles. The best thing is that it is a live museum. It means that there you can see real musicians who can tell you something about their music. You also can create your own music on the computers. The museum organised a music camp for young people where they can develope their talent.
