In my opinion, life in 2040 will be quite different than now. There will be more robots, and they will be upgraded so they will be able to do almost everything for us. No one will travel by train or bus anymore, because there will be special vehicles traveling with the light speed, so to travel from one place to another side of the globe will take about 10 mins. There also will be no diseases, because scientist will find a special vaccine, that protects you from every bad germ for all life. It will be cool.
