I grew up in a large extended family and believe that it is a good experience. My mother had five children. All of the children are girls, two are from a previous marriage. Our aunt, uncle and two cousins came to live with us due to financial hardships.  The advantages of living with extended family members are that: it is never boring, we play a lot of games and there is always help available. The disadvantages of a living with an extended family are that: we have to share everything, rarely get to buy new clothes (most are hand-me-downs) and it gets very loud during arguments. Overall, I love my extended family and am glad that we could help them in their time of need.
