Django Unchained is a film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. In fact, he even appears in the movie. It's about Django, a slave who is bought by a German dentist, dr. Schultz. He treats Django as equal and gives him his freedom, but they travel together and kill people for money. This way Django has the chance to have his revenge for everything that has been done to him and his wife. Schultz helps him find his wife who is a slave at the Candyland plantation. They want to buy her, but it doesn't go well and Schultz gets shot, Django is about to be transported to a mine. He manages to escape, returns to Candyland and kills everybody. Then he leaces the plantation with his wife.
Django Unchained is in my opinion very close to a masterpiece. It's bloody, entertaining, amazingly written and directed, has wonderful cast. It's nothing like classic westerns. I'd rather classify it as a thriller about a couple of serial killers. It's a great movie and I'd recommend it to all Tarantino fans.
