Dear Sir/Madam,

Referring to your advertisement published in the Internet, I would like to apply for a job as a receptionist in your hotel. I am 20 years old and am studying English Philology at university. I speak advanced English very fluently and I likewise know German a little.
Despite not having worked before in a similar profession, I feel I would be well-suited for it.

I consider myself to be dependable and conscientious which would make me a good employee. I believe these two reasons will make me an ideal candidate for the job. I have enclosed a copy of my CV. If you would like to I will be pleased to send you my references.

I hope my application will be taken into consideration.
