Hi Mark,

We haven't written in a long time! Tell me how did you spend your last vacation? I hope you had great fun. Better than me, anyways. 

I recently had an argument with my girlfriend. She accused me of cheating on her, which is not true! I was so angry I told her it must be her who was cheating, and we nearly split up. Because of that conflict we didn't go to the New Year's Eve party together. She decided to stay home. It's a shame, really.

Earlier, we had spent a wonderful Christmas at her uncle's house in the mountains, skiing during the day and watching films in evenings - it had been lovely. I hope we make up again soon, but I'm not sure how to apologize to her. Could you give me some advice? And tell me what you did during Christmas.
