Recently we can hear a lot about unidentified flying objects, UFO for short. Some people believe that aliens exists and some think it’s impossible. I will try to answer the question if spending money on looking for extraterrestrials is a waste of money or not.
In my opinion it is good to spend money on such things. First of all, we can discover another civilization and get to know that we are not alone in the universe. Secondly, even if aliens don’t exist, thanks to voyages to the space, we will learn more about other galaxies, planets and stars. And finally, thanks to the money invested in scientific research, astronomy has a chance to develop.
To sum up, spending money on looking for an extraterrestrial intelligence may be a good idea but only if we spend them in a reasonable way.
