Dear Ann(załóżmy)

 

I really need to tell you something. I'm very dissapointed and frustrated. Please, read this letter and try to help me somehos because I trust you a lot.

Firstly, I came up with an idea that I could spend a  following year in Australia. I could find some work and make it on my own there. But unfortunately my parents don't approve this idea. 

When I first told them they treated me like a child who have just made up a dream. Dad laughed at me and mom started preaching how immature this idea was. I don't think so. I'm sure I can make it without serious problems. Why do they think such a hurting things of me? I thought I was a strong independent girl who's able to go abroad and live finally on her own. I wish my parent supported me more. 

They expect me to finish my university. Luckily I speak English perfeclty and I have earned a lot of money during my gap year so I can take up studying in Australia. There's no border against it. But..  yes, you guessed it. My parents won't let me because this choice is too serious. 

I'm the saddest person in the world. This was the worst thing I could ever hear about myself and ,to make matters worse, it was told me by my own parents! What would you advice me to do? Please, help. How can I persuade them to let me decide of my own life?
