My favourite musical group, that I have always been fond of, is a Polish pop-rock band called „Bajm". It was formed in 1978 in the city of Lublin. The lead singer of the band is Beata Kozidrak who is the only person that has invariably been a member of the group since the time of its inception. Interestingly, she is capable of using the whistle register which is a rare skill. It means she can reach the highest notes a human can sing. At present, there are five more people who constitute the band, they are Maria Dobrzańska, Adam Drath, Artur Daniewski, Krzysztof Nieścior and Piotr Bielecki. The „Bajm" proper noun originates from the founders' first names as follows: B [Beata Kozidrak], A [Andrzej Pietras], J [Jarosław Kozidrak], M [Marek Winiarski]. So far, the band has managed to release fifteen albums, and has performed all over the world. The band lider is also pursuing a solo career, she released her third solo album called „B3” in 2016, that has been considered a gold disc, and recently she has completed her concert tour called „Bingo tour”. Next year, the band is celebrating their fortieth anniversary, and they're planning on an unusual surprise for their fans.
