Dear Sir/Madam,

 

On 10 October 2012 I purchased a pair of blue jeans in your store on Main Street. I asked the shop assistant about the size. She assured me that the jeans were size 4, so I bought them without trying them on.

 

However, at home when I tried them on, they were too small. I compared them to other pants that I had bought at the same store and they were labeled the same size but were much smaller.

 

So the next day I took them back to the store and asked for a bigger size. However, the shop assistant said that I couldn't exchange them because I had already bought them. I tried to explain to her that the label was incorrect, but she did not care.

 

That is why I'm writing to you now. I believe that the label on the pants is incorrect. I have purchased other pants that were a size 4 and they were never too small. I have not worn these pants outside the house and I have not damaged them.

 

I would like you to call the store and tell them to let me exchange the pants for a bigger size.
